Town of Cairo awarded large Grant to Assist Little League

In Cairo, the town is set to see $646,500 to rehabilitate two Little League ballfields at Angelo Canna Town Park to improve drainage and expand access.

“The project will address long-standing flooding issues that have often caused game cancellations by upgrading field conditions and supporting inclusive community use through accessible improvements and park amenity enhancements,” according to the state announcement.
